Anne graduated with a Bachelors degree in Spanish and Education from Kent State University and Masters of Science in Education from St. Bonaventure
University as a Reading Specialist. She will soon finish her ELL Program Specialist certificate and has taught for 32 years in the Otto-Eldred
School District in Duke Center, PA. She has worked as a member of the Student Assistance Program for the past 20 years and has been actively involved
in counseling, guidance, community and leadership programs.
In 1996, Anne, along with her colleague Marybeth Glover, began the Peer Helper program at Otto-Eldred High School, one of the first in Northwestern
Pennsylvania. The program includes peer listening, tutoring, mediation, and mentoring and Annie has continued as adviser for the past 12 years. Anne
has continued to be active in training peer groups and in promoting peer leadership programs.
